Spitalfields Music Festival is back this summer! Besides sharing great music, our primary consideration is to keep audiences, performers and staff safe, so you’ll notice some differences. None of our events will have intervals, and all will last a maximum of 75 minutes. Venue capacities will be reduced to enable social distancing, and we’ll ask you to wear a mask (unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing so).
Joining us in person? Our concerts are Covid-secure, and following government guidelines we are selling at a reduced 50% capacity. When you book, we’ll ask for your party size but won’t offer seating plans. We believe this is the fairest way to accommodate the most people, socially-distanced. We’re working with venues to make sure that check-ins are as smooth as possible, but we’ll need your help. We’ll be taking temperatures, ensuring we have contact details for track and trace, and making sure that there’s plenty of hand sanitiser available. Thanks, in advance, for working with us so we can all enjoy music together safely.
Not able to come to us? We know that some of you can’t join us in person, so we’ve created a few special events that can be streamed from your home so you don’t miss out.
We are very grateful to Arts Council England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport for their support as part of the Culture Recovery Fund.
